Dear Senator [Senator's Last Name],

RE: Vote NO on the Nomination of Todd Blanche for United States Attorney General

I am writing to strongly urge you to vote against the nomination of Todd Blanche to serve as the United States Attorney General.

The Attorney General leads the Department of Justice, an institution that must function as an independent force for upholding the rule of law and equal justice. Todd Blanche’s previous role as personal defense counsel to Donald Trump creates an undeniable conflict of interest.

During his time serving in an acting capacity, Mr. Blanche's tenure has raised profound concerns regarding his independence and fitness to lead. Actions such as his involvement in controversial settlement deals and the proposal for an "Anti-Weaponization Fund" demonstrate a willingness to use the powers of the Justice Department to reward perceived political allies and advance personal agendas rather than serve the American people.

Our nation requires an Attorney General who places the Constitution and the rule of law above political or personal loyalty. Approving a close former associate to oversee the nation's top law enforcement agency threatens the independence of the Justice Department and undermines public trust.

Therefore, I respectfully ask that you use your constitutional authority to reject Mr. Blanche’s confirmation and demand an Attorney General who will act impartially on behalf of all Americans.

Thank you for your time, your public service, and for considering my views. I look forward to hearing your position on this critical nomination.

Sincerely,
